All Aboarders continued the station centenary celebrations this summer with a Ride on Railway event in Howardsgate.
The miniature train ride was operated by North London Society of Model Engineers and organised to coincide with WGC BID’s Dinomania Day.

All Aboarders were excited to be instrumental in bringing the the miniature railway to the town and also helping throughout the day in setting it up, stewarding, and taking it down the railway.
Howardsgate was the perfect location with the train chugging up and down one of the avenues of trees. The town centre was abuzz with families enjoying the both the dinosaur entertainment and the train rides. At one point the dinos raced alongside!
It was a great success with over 600 passenger rides completed. Profits after expenses went to charities and All Aboarders were able to add £200 to their centenary celebration funds.
We would love to be able to repeat this event in future.
